Linked by rope and pulleys, a bale of hay and a bale-sized block of ice frozen with a girl's dress, sunhat and pair of Mary Jane shoes—embodied the artist's life stories, one of dislocation from her homeland, the other of the loss of her family's farm.
Pooled water from melting ice set afloat a handful of origami boats.
